Bill at Lewes Harbour Marina, said the shop checked in a pending Delaware State Record blue catfish for Sidney McBroom (be sure to check out Tom Pagliaroli?s article on targeting blue catfish in this month?s edition of The Fisherman). The big cat weighed 53 pounds and was caught out of the Nanticoke River. Tommy Huges caught a 31-inch striped bass close to Indian River Inlet. Bill Krug caught a Delaware Citation flounder weighing 7.4 pounds while fishing on the Grizzly. On Wednesday the Katydid had flounder and sea bass, the Grizzly had flounder and sea bass, Pappy?s Lady had flounder and the Angler had croaker.

Bill at Lewes Harbour Marina, told us Shazmin Stern, fishing from the family dock with a rig and bait recommended by Andrew from Lewes Harbour Marina, caught a 5-pound flounder. The ChasinÂ’ Tail ran a fun trip with the mates and returned with a boat limit of flounder and 6 sea bass. Kyle Falgowski caught Delaware Citation 7.67-pound flounder. John Gudknecht had a Delaware Citation 7.48-pound flounder on the Katydid. The Jay Sea II had a boat limit of flounder plus sea bass and dolphin. Jules and Bill Mister had a good day on the ocean before the storm. They caught a boat limit of dolphin and a bunch of sea bass and one flounder. In addition, Bill caught four cobia with only one keeper.
